Nowadays have been quite focused on housing... So did not read up enough on the current stock trends 😜
While news of recession continue to be more apparent, markets started to gain some optimism as investors try to time their entry into the market. News about rate hikes peaking soon, oil prices set to correct, outstanding results from some large cap. stocks, also fueled the recovery. The grim outlook of China and hk corrected part of the rallied gains from past few days.
Right now, the question is: is this the bottom? Or will there be another bottom? But entering at either (if there are 2) bottoms are going to reap me the same profits anyway.
My stocks did recover (very slightly only). I'm glad my MIT and Lendlease are showing signs of recovery, having been my most vested stocks. I should have added more for either, but again, no money :(
And here comes a preferential offering for MCT. $2.0036. Heck, its trading at $1.8, which noob would subscribe to the PO? Needless to say, I did not exercise the right.
Attended AGMs for MIT, Boustead, MCT.
MIT tried to convince us that they are adopting a cautious approach in this volatile economic situation coming next few months.
MCT tried to convince us about the projected growth with the M&A.
Boustead? Doesn't look convincing. Admitted their shortcomings in the current environment and they have no edge over their competitors. No plans. Other than to pull up their socks 😂
It's 7 months into the year. Aug is another month of dividend collection yay. Hope to set aside these monies and return them into my portfolio.
