I know its going to be a less stressful work environment than in beacon, but I nvr expect it to be so chill. No wonder some ppl like govt jobs. Now I get it.
The difference between the 2 jobs is really 天渊之别. With this kind of pay I probably need to be working 24/7 back there (and still not enough). Compared to here, I have a lot of pockets of time in between, while waiting for replies, waiting for batch jobs.. Plus the amount of buffer time allowed is... almost making me feel like I'm not working at all.
I haven't really given much thought of what I'm going to do in these pockets of time. So far I've just been watching random videos, rotting on the couch, doing a bit of chores here and there.. Probably should do some reading up or pick up a new skill along the way ya?
If that's the kind of life I'm going to go through from now on, 求之不得 haha. No need give me any promotion. I'm more than happy to remain status quo and be everyone's kah kia. I'm still gonna have these pockets of time anyway :)
And. I sold my bike. Since there isn't much use for it anyway with the wfh arrangements plus the convenient office location..
Meixin has been hitting her motor milestones relatively early, much to our surprise. We still can't believe our eyes when she climbed up the flight of stairs without support herself *claps claps* Meiying has also impressed us with her vocab and grammar :) well done! Just buck up on your mannerisms and temper and everyone will love you ok :D
Signing off. Hope to come back with something more "interesting" next time.
